On behalf of the Mohawk Valley Latino Association, Inc., we are pleased to announce the 12th Annual Upstate Latino Summit. We are prepared to host a successful event, either in-person or virtual, to support Latinos in the area.
The 12th Annual Upstate Latino Summit will include the participation of Latino Community Based organizations from Albany, Amsterdam, Rome-Utica, Syracuse, and Rochester. These organizations came together for the first time in September 2007, to discuss their growing concerns and best practices when serving their communities, and they are doing it again virtually Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are also preparing to host the event virtually in the case of a resurgence of COVID-19, should it be required. Don’t miss this opportunity to support professionals who work closely with the Latino community in the corporate, nonprofit, and public service sectors throughout Upstate New York. Profound challenges to our community demand an immediate response. MVLA and our partners have the experience and relationships to lead a strategy of innovations connecting and reinvigorating our Latino Community; that's why we exist. This is our purpose. The Organizers
The 2020-21 Upstate Latino Summit is organized by a group of Latino leaders from throughout the region. They are executive directors, business owners, doctors, politicians, city officials, media publishers, and from other professions. Leading this effort are the Latino Community Based Organizations which rotate as hosts.

We need people to help us before, during and after the summit event. There are a variety of tasks you can assist us with depending on your expertise or your interest.
