Yes, the membership is $20 yearly and per person.
Why I have to pay to get services and be a Member?
MVLA does not have a fee base for service. All services are FREE to everyone. We encourage everyone to become members of the organization and become involve by volunteering to help us plan activities, office work etc.
What is my membership fee used for?
The office operations, purchasing of office supplies, and/or advertising of program(s)
Does MVLA benefits from my fee?
Yes, all programs presented to the community.
Can I claim my fee during my tax returns?
No, membersip fee is not a donation. We do accept donations as this would be a tax deduction benefit.
What are the advantages or disadvantages of joining MVLA?
There no disadvantages for joining MVLA. The advantages are: cultural benefits, by re-connecting your Latino culture in our communities, and others; business and social networking, monthly meetings, focus group meetings of your interest, FREE children's program, and annual heritage events, plus more. I paid my membership fee. Can my children be part of Ritmo Caribeño?
No, membership is saparate from the programs deliveries.
Does members of Ritmo Caribeño paid yearly membership fees as well?
No, unless they want to donate to the program.
